London Met PhD Scholarships from London Metropolitan University

London Metropolitan University located in the heart of London and has a strong history of imparting education. London Met University was formed by merging the University of North London and London Guildhall University. The University has two campuses in London, the City campus and the North Campus in North London. London Met University enjoys a status of top 10 most popular universities of England. Applications for the scholarships are invited for the course commencing in February 2013. The last date for submission of the application is 31st October 2012. The scholarships are available for all the courses available at the University. This PhD scholarship provides for the full and partial tuition fees financial support to the student. This scholarship is open to all international students having an unconditional offer of admission by the University. The selection of the candidate is made on the basis of his academic career and on the economic and social benefit to his home country. Students can apply either online or through post for the scholarship. The completed application form for the PhD scholarship together with the required document should reach the International Office till the last date. All correspondence regarding the scholarship would be done online only.

The successful candidates would be informed accordingly. There are a limited number of seats for the scholarship and hence the students are offered the scholarship on first come first serve basis. The research conducted at the University was considered as internationally excellent and world leading by RAE. The University also ranks in the top half of UK universities in term of research power. World-class research expertise was demonstrated by the students in the field of Arts, Humanities, Design and Technology, Natural and social sciences.
