The Nottingham Trent University is a public research university located within Nottingham, England. The school was originally started in 1843 as a government school and was not awarded university status until 1992. The university is ranked respectively amongst other similar universities in both academics and student satisfaction. The university attracts over 28,000 students annually.

The Nottingham Trent University is pleased to be able to award a large number of PhD scholarships to their upcoming doctoral students. These PhD scholarships are awarded based off of both personal and academic merit. These scholarships are intended for outstanding doctoral candidates who have chosen to undertake their research at the university.

These PhD scholarships award tuition fees for applicants. They also provide a generous living allowance that covers all miscellaneous charges.
