Online PhD UK- University of Ulster – Professional Doctorate in Nursing Science

The University of Ulster is one of Northern Ireland’s best providers of higher education. The University of Ulster, or UU as it is more commonly called, is a multi-campus University that dominates most of Northern Ireland. It is a merger of several schools with five campuses in total. Four of the five are physical campuses located at Belfast, Coleraine, Derry and Jordanstown. The firth campus is actually a virtual platform for distance learning and online education. This platform is called Campus One.
One of the many full and short courses offered in Campus One is the Professional Doctorate in Nursing Science program. This is one of a few online PhD UK programs offered in UU’s Campus One. This program is taught under the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences which is based in the Jordanstown campus. The aim of this program is to develop the leadership, managerial, research and development and educational capabilities of nurses and midwives. Like most online PhD UK programs this teaches students to step up in their line of work. After finishing this program, nurses and midwives should be able to contribute more in the field.
As with regular PhD programs, online PhD UK programs have set requirements for acceptance. First, you’re required to have finished a Masters Degree on Nursing or Midwifery with a 60% average. And second, you should have at least three years clinical experience. You are also required to submit an outline research proposal, which will also be considered for your application.
