Before being accepted as a student for online PhD degree programs such as this one, University of Canberra is requiring a Bachelor’s degree in law or any equivalent degree. Also, five years of practice is a must and a capacity to complete a significant doctoral research is being required.
To attain this professional doctorate degree, students must complete a total of 72 credit points, which is divided into 24 credit points for coursework and 48 for research. All in all, much like other online PhD degree programs, the Professional Doctorate in Legal Science can be completed in a minimum of three years to a maximum of four years. It can also be taken in a part-time basis granted that the student completes all of the requirements demanded by the degree program.
