Online Professional Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology for Busy Professionals
This Course is intended for practising medical professionals who would like to earn a research degree but cannot enroll in a full-time course. Completion of the program qualifies graduates for registration with the Victorian Psychologists Registration Board as a professional psychologist, as well as for membership in the Australian Psychological Society.
Online Professional Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology – Pre-Admission Qualifications
Applicants for Online Professional Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology must hold the equivalent of a psychology degree with an upper 2A class Honours grade and submit two academic and two professional recommendations. Candidates will also undergo personal interviews as part of the entry process. Since places in the program are limited a quota may be imposed based on the availability of thesis supervisors. The program includes coursework, an extended internship and an investigation in a particular area of clinical psychology which will be written up in a doctoral thesis. The duration of the program is four years on a part-time basis.
International applicants are required to have their qualifications assessed by the Australian Psychological Society before they are considered for entry to Online Professional Doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology; they are also required to meet English-language requirements to prove they are proficient in the language.
