One of the premier universities in the Philippines has finally entered the internet age with its introduction of a few online PhD programs that students can now finish through distance learning. This university was established in 1908 however its open university first came to be in 1995. Applicants are also required to present a B or 2.0 general weighted average in the undergraduate level or a 1.75 in their Master’s level. You are also required to pass the DATE or Doctoral Admissions Test in Education that is formulated to help determine your mental aptitude, your research proficiency and your English or Filipino language proficiency.
With online PhD programs such as this, you will often be expected to show your potential for leadership and qualities that will make you suited for such a course. You will also be required to present a statement of purpose along with your documents and references when you apply for a slot in this program.
