Online PhD Degree Programs – University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences

University of St. Augustine (USA) for Health and Sciences is a school for graduate students who would like to enroll in programs of occupational and physical therapy. It has three campuses in the country: one in St. Augustine, Florida, one in Boca Raton, and one in San Diego California. And to keep up with the growing demands of online PhD degree programs, the university now offers the Flexible Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree (DPT).
DPT degree is now available through FLEX distance education program in San Diego and Boca Raton. FLEX, like other online PhD degree programs, refers to the program which provides the curriculum online for professional physical therapy with subsequent laboratory sessions on weekends. If you enroll in it, you can finish the degree in 12 trimesters (studying part-time) as you keep your current job full-time. This is one of the great advantages of online PhD degree programs. It allows you to develop your knowledge and skills without demanding you to give up your source of living.
Over 50 percent of the coursework is delivered to the student online throughout the program. The courses are composed of web-based text with graphics, audio clips, and videos. There are also synchronous and asynchronous interactive collaborations among instructors and students. Assessments are also done online by quizzes, graded bulletin board assignments, group projects, case reports, article critiques, and research papers.
For the lab component of the program, students gather for up to 16 hours of classes each weekend, not exceeding eight weekends in a trimester. This meeting provides avenue for hands-on learning which is necessary in physical therapy education.
