Victorian International Research Scholarship for 2013

The state of Victoria is situated in the southeastern part of Australia and considered as one of the most populated state of the country. Education here is supervised by its Department of Education and Early Childhood Development or DEECD. It follows a three-tier education model: the Primary Education, the Secondary Education, and the Tertiary Education. The Victorian International Research Scholarships for 2013 are awarded by the Victorian Coalition Government to top-performing scholars with excellent academic achievements and those who want to complete their doctoral at one the above-mentioned universities. These universities are recognized internationally for their own quality and collaborative research connections with universities and industry overseas. They are the ones who will do the nomination of the top students and the applications will be evaluated by experts. More detailed information is available at certain PhD departments of the preferred field of study.
The research scholarships are applicable to top ranked colleges and universities. They provide outstanding and excellent opportunities for research of any study field. They provide international students with financial aid and a chance to experience the life of people living in Australia. They help students establish new connections and strengthen their career options. They are available in five PhD scholarships for candidates who are interested in conducting research in 2013 at any of the authorized university. They are offered in $90,000 intended for the whole duration of their PhD programs.
Students eligible for these scholarships are expected to be citizens of a country outside Australia, to have interest in completing major doctoral work in the state, to be more than willing to become an ambassador for the scholarships, to have accepted into a doctoral degree, and not to hold any qualification with regards to become equivalent to a research doctorate in the country. In return, university ambassadors take part in media interviews, award presentation and present research for program promotion.
The Victorian International Research Scholarships for 2013 can be applied for support of the best research. These PhD scholarships are designed for PhD courses at any of the accredited universities in the state. Interested applicants are required to be accepted first to begin their PhD degree program in 2013. Applications are available at the authorized Victorian schools. Basic requirements to be eligible for the scholarships are the academic merit and the outstanding academic results of the candidates.
