The University of South Bank is matter of fact one of the oldest universities there is in central London that even the oldest bakery school is also found here, which is the National Bakery School that was founded in 1894. This University masters four faculties focusing on health and social care, business and computing, arts and humanities and engineering and the built environment. This University uniquely awards degrees in PhD by Published Works. A hopeful candidate must be able to submit the requirements of application for admission and must also hold a first or second class honors degree of London South Bank or any UK university. However, if in any case the hopeful candidate does not possess the said qualification, the Universities Research Degrees Committee shall then evaluate the candidate.
