Online PhD UK – University of Glasgow – Professional Doctorate in Management Studies

The University of Glasgow now offers Professional Doctorate in Management Studies course. One of Scotland’s four ancient universities, and also the fourth-oldest in all of the United Kingdom, is now one of the seventeen British institutions ranked among the top 100 in the whole world. Glasgow has nine main faculties namely: Arts, Biomedical & Life Sciences, Education, Engineering, Information and Mathematical Sciences, Law, Business &Social Sciences, Medicine, Physical Sciences, and also Veterinary Medicine. Four of its departments make it very unique compared to all other Scottish universities.
The Professional Doctorate in Management Studies programme is a research degree comprising 3 subject groups. The first is Strategy/Marketing, followed by Organisational Behaviour/Human Resource Management, and Operation Management. The Doctoral programme is ESRC-accredited.
Entry requirement for the online PhD UK is an honours degree in a relevant subject area, or equivalent, meaning GPA should be no less than 3.0). Accepted students will undertake a research project on an agreed topic and will be supervised and overseen by a supporting supervisor and the Thesis Committee. Students will be conferred with a PhD after assessing entirely on the examination of the completed thesis and no other course work. Students will first go under research training, then subject training, and then assessment will be the last phase of the programme.
Entry for the online PhD UK course is possible at any month of the year. A full time study will take 36 months and interested candidates may apply online. University scholarships are given to those eligible applicants, and are provided by ESRC, EPSRC, and the university.
