With its strong ties with business, the University of South Australia is a good choice for those seeking online PhD programs that will help enhance their professional standing in their chosen careers. UniSA is the largest university in the state of Southern Australia, with an enrollment of over 36,000 students spread out over five campuses (four in Adelaide, one in Whyalla) and annual revenues exceeding $457 million.

The University of South Australia was founded in 1991 as a result of the merger of the South Australian College of Advanced Education’s Underdale, Salisbury and Magill campuses and the South Australian Institute of Technology. Its first two research institutions were founded in 1994 and the UniSA Northern Adelaide Partnerships program was established in 2002 to strengthen ties between schools, businesses and the community.
