Established in 1843 as the Coventry College of Design, Coventry University is the very first institution in UK to offer the disaster management program. Through a series of merges with different institutions, Coventry College of Design which then became Coventry Polytechnic in 1987 achieved university status in 1992. The campus spans thirty three acres and is composed of different buildings for their different departments. The university is also one of the institutions that are offering online PhD UK.
In order for you to become an eligible candidate for an online PhD UK particularly a PhD in published work in Coventry University, you must be a matriculated student of the university with first to upper second class honors or any honor of equivalent. You are also eligible for candidature if you are a staff of the university who has served for three years full time or six years part time. Once the faculty sees that you are indeed eligible, you will be given certain requirements that you need to meet within three to six academic months.
Completion of the requirements will not assure you of having an online PhD UK successfully. Application for a program will still require you to submit a published output together with an outline explaining its relevance and its contribution to knowledge. An oral examination scheduled by the Vice Chancellor or an appointed officer is also a requirement that a candidate should successfully accomplish before the head of the faculty can see whether the university can admit you to one of their programs.
