The School of Science and Technology at the University of New England has earned an international reputation for the quality of its research. The duration of ProfD online PhD degree programs is six years on a part-time basis.
To qualify for entry into this online PhD degree programs, applicants must have the equivalent of a Bachelor’s with a first or upper second class Honours degree in an appropriate discipline and five years of relevant work experience; candidates who have completed the equivalent of at least a year of a full-time Master’s program will also be considered. The course consists of graduate-level coursework subjects and a dissertation (of no more than 30,000 words) documenting the results of a work-based research project.
