Online PhD UK – University of East Anglia – Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (ClinPsyD)

The University of East Anglia in Norwich, England together with the National Health Society is currently offering an online PhD UK postgraduate course to clinical psychologists in Norfolk, Suffolk and in Cambridgeshire. This public university which is a member of the 1994 Group, ACU and Universities UK has been established in 1963. The largest multi-sports facility in the country is also located in the University of East Anglia.
The Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, a Professional Doctorate course, is designed for practicing clinical psychologists who would still want to get more knowledge regarding their line of profession. Another objective of the programme is to help practitioners establish a connection between practice and theory. Another goal of the Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is to help trainees appreciate their work, be optimistic but at the same time realistic in dealing with their patients. The series of training and modules enable students to cope with the emotional demands of their profession.
During the first year, students under this Professional Doctorate programme will be introduced to three core models namely cognitive-analytic, cognitive-behavioral and systemic. Interested applicants should have a working experience as a clinical psychologist and a Masters degree in the same field. Although the course is open for foreign candidates, it is important to note that this is not a distance-learning programme. Attendance to study blocks, trainings and lectures is necessary.
